Vibeke Alfelt
Vibeke Alfelt (1934-1999)
Vibeke Alfelt made her unofficial debut as an artist when, at the age of 14, she participated in the Cobra group's decoration of Bregnerødhytten with her father, Carl Henning Pedersen. A's early paintings had the landscape and animals as motifs. Later, the horse came to assume the all-dominant role in her art. The horse is the formal means that promotes the poetry and joy of color that characterizes A's art.
